Cities & Towns:
Cheyenne Wells
Kit Carson

Cheyenne County is in the Great Plains area of eastern Colorado. Although somewhat "tree-challenged," it's pretty countryside, but the young folks are moving to the cities for work and the county is slowly being drained of population (and funds).

Cheyenne County was named for the Cheyenne Nation of Native Americans. Cheyenne County contains 1,781 square miles of land and almost no surface water. The county seat is Cheyenne Wells.
