Hill County is in central northern Montana with Alberta and Saskatchewan to the north. Part of the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation is here, as is the Fort Assiniboine Historic Site. Hill County was formed in 1912 and contains 2,896 square miles of land and 20 square miles of water. The county seat is Havre.
