Judith Gap, Montana

Judith Gap is located at the northern boundary of Wheatland County in an area where the topography and the prevailing winds have worked together to convince humans to build the 90-turbine Judith Gap Wind Farm. This is one of the most ambitious wind power projects ever begun in the United States and is slated to generate between 135 and 150 megawatts of power at full build-out and power-up.
