Western State College is a four-year school offering Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, located in Gunnison, Colorado, with an annual enrollment of some 2,400 students from all Colorado counties and from all 50 states.
About 93% of the student population travels more than 100 miles to attend school here, about 35% come from outside Colorado. Over 90% of the classes are smaller than 35 students while the average class size is 21. 96% of the classes are taught by full time faculty. While 40% of the student population lives on campus, all freshman are required to live on campus.
