Elko Snobowl |
Looking out from the top of the lift at Elko Snobowl |
The Elko Snobowl is an undiscovered skier's paradise located about 6 miles northwest of Elko, at the head of the west fork of Eightmile Creek via a well-maintained dirt road. There are long slopes all around the bowl, and very few skiers. Imagine, skiing on a good hill in the high desert with 360° views... When the lifts are running, there's a shuttle bus that runs to the ski area every hour from the end of Fifth Street in Elko. |
