Snow King Resort
Snow King Resort rises up Snow King Mountain, on the edge of Jackson, Wyoming. First opened in 1939, Snow King was the first ski hill in Wyoming and still offers one of America's most innovative teaching/learning ski programs through the Great American Ski School. Also available are full service alpine and cross country guided tours and instruction (there's 30 km of cross country trails available in this incredibly beautiful countryside).
Snow King Resort is an all season, full service resort offering Jackson Hole's largest and most complete hotel and conference facilities. Included in the Resort are the Snow King Center day lodge and ice rink, complete ski repair and rental shop, 3 whirlpools, swimming pool, fitness room, sauna, and game room. Laundry and valet dry cleaning, beauty/barber shop, gift and accessory shop, newstand, and activity desk are also on the premises. The contemporary Western Hotel offers 204 guest rooms and 50 condominiums close by. Casual dining from breakfast to late dinner is available at the Atrium Restaurant and there's a pretty lavish Sunday brunch at Rafferty's. There's also some excellent condos, townhomes, resort suites and luxury vacation home rentals available in the area.
And if this isn't enough, it's 7 miles to Grand Teton National Park and 60 miles to the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
