Cities & Towns:
Walden

Jackson County is in north central Colorado with Wyoming to the north. Named for President Andrew Jackson, Jackson County contains 1,613 square miles of land and 8 square miles of water. The county seat is Walden.

A large part of Jackson County is National Forest, although the Colorado State Forest State Park also occupies a large chunk of land in the eastern part of the county. Just south of Walden is the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge: a great place to go if you're looking for some wildlife (of the natural persuasion, of course).
