While Turner Mountain Ski Resort is not a big, commercialized ski area, that 60% of black diamonds and 2,110 feet of vertical drop can be quite a draw. The mountain also offers some of the finest owder skiing in North America. The base area offers a snack bar, ski rentals and ski instruction. To get here: from Libby go north 1 mile on Highway 37, then turn left onto Pipe Creek Road 68 and go about 19 miles to East Fork Pipe Creek Road. 1 mile north on this road is an access road leading 1.5 miles to the mountain base area. |
