The Main Administration Building
Northern New Mexico College has a campus in El Rito, about 40 miles northwest of the College's main campus in Espanola. The College is a two-year and four-year degree granting institution, accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Nearly 65 certificate and degree programs are offered in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Aided Drafting, Design Foundation, Early Chldhood Education, Fine Arts, Human Services, Library Technology, Micro Electronics, Management Information Systems, Nursing, Radiography, Teacher Education, Science, Biology, Substance Abuse Counselor, Welding Technology, and Engineering.
The Espanola Campus covers more than 30 acres. There is a newly built, $1.8 million High Tech Manufacturing Training Facility to house the Semiconductor Manufacturing and Electronics Department. Also in the facility is a clean room, robotics lab, multi-purpose lab, faculty offices, classrooms, and Distance Education classroom space. The facility has been named one of the nation's top five "Best Practice" planning projects.
Northern's new Food Science and Technology Program is housed in the $2.6 million Johnson Controls Northern New Mexico Business Park. More than 20 businesses will be housed in the building, as well as Northern's Small Business Development Center. Computer labs are available for students in the Student Success Center, Vocational Ed Building, Design Foundation Lab, Library, General Education Building, and Administration Building. The Library and Be Lujan Learning Resource Center also house the school's Interactive Televised Video studio, used to televise classes between the two campuses.
The Espanola Campus also includes the Nick L. Salazar Center for the Arts, Child Development Center, Eagle Memorial Gym, La Cocina Cafe, Adult Basic Education Center, and Northern's Bookstore.
