From Walsenburg take I-25 exit to Hwy. 10, go east 18.5 miles, then south on Cty. Rd. 77 for 7 miles, east on Cty. Rd. 90 for 11 miles to Apishapa State Wildlife Area. Follow signs through wildlife area to northeast side and parking lot.

WILDLIFE: Mule deer, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, rabbits, doves, scaled quail, bobcats, coyotes
RESTRICTIONS: Foot or horseback only; no motorized vehicles past the parking lot.

Go east from Trinidad on US 160 for 40 miles, then go north on CR 147 for 9 miles. Or, go west from Kim for 28 miles on US 160, then go 9 miles north on CR 147.

OPEN: From first day of archery pronghorn season until May 31.
HUNTING: Deer, elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, turkey, mountain lions. No small game hunting or fishing allowed.
RESTRICTIONS:

• Check in at designated location.
• No hunting within 1/2 mile of homes (posted safety zone).
• No target shooting.
• No motor vehicles off county roads if wet conditions exist.
• Camping allowed only in designated areas.
• No motor vehicles off designated roads, parking only in designated areas.
• Pack it in, pack it out.
• Horses allowed for hunting only in big game seasons.
• Only certified weed-free hay allowed.

From I-25 exit 34 (at Aguilar) take CR 60 east for 10 miles, then north on CR 75 for 2 miles. Then go east on CR 64 for 2 miles, then north on CR 79 another 6 miles to the parking lot.

From Aguilar take exit 30 off of I-25 to Cty. Rd. 63.1. Go 1/2 mile west to property.

RESTRICTIONS: Access is restricted as posted on east side of property

From Trinidad go west 15.3 miles on Highway 12 to CR 41.7. Go north 11.6 miles to property.

RESTRICTIONS: Access restricted as posted on west side of property, no motor vehicles off designated roads.

From Walsenburg go 18.5 miles northeast on Highway 10 to the property sign. Turn southeast and go 20 miles past Mica Butte to property.

From Raton, NM, go 7 miles east on NM Highway 72 & 256, north up Sugarite Canyon 12 miles to Lake Dorothey SWA, then 2 miles northwest on unmarked trail to top of Fisher's Peak Mesa.
