The Selkirk Mountains in Idaho |
The International Selkirk Loop is a 280-mile route over scenic byways in Idaho, Washington and British Columbia. The Idaho section contains the whole of the Panhandle Historic Rivers Passage and the Wildhorse Trail Scenic Byway. The Washington section is on the North Pend Oreille Scenic Byway and the Pend Oreille Valley Scenic Byway. The route connects Lake Pend Oreille, Kootenay Lake and Sullivan Lake while it encircles the Selkirk Mountains. Attractions along the route:
