Sinclair, Wyoming

The Sinclair oil refinery as seen from Interstate 80

Sinclair began life as "Parco," named for the Producers and Refiners Corporation, the company which built the refinery in town. During the Great Depression, Sinclair Consolidated Oil Corporation bought PARCO and renamed the town after itself. That original refinery has been upgraded several times but old as it is, it's still in use today.
