Eagle Island State Park is about 545 acres of day-use property located about 14 miles west of Boise, Idaho on the edge of the city of Eagle. The property is bordered on the north and south sides by 2 forks of the Boise River. Facilities include a grassy picnic area, a swimming beach with a waterslide and more than 5 miles of horseback-riding and hiking trails. There's also a volleyball area and horsehoe pits available. Development of Eagle Island State Park is on-going with expanded opportunities for camping, canoeing, kayaking and ice skating in the works. The development is occurring in phases, with each phase seeing changes to the trail system in particular.

Entry fees run $4 per vehicle per day. The waterslide offers 10 rides for $5 or unlimited rides for $10. The waterslide is usually open in the summer from noon to 8 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and select Thursdays, Fridays and holidays.
