Leeds, Utah
Leeds began life as a settlement named Bennington. Then the neighboring town of Harrisburg got flooded out. Nearly all the flood-affected residents in the area moved to Bennington and soon changed its name to Leeds. The local economy used to be based on agriculture but that industry is now second to tourism with Zion National Park, the Pine Valley Mountains and the Silver Reef ghost town nearby.
